Hi there,
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had an awesome holiday season!
I had a grand ole time at the end of December 2015. I got to hang with my fun and crazy family in New Jersey and out in Chicago (also snuck in a day trip to Milwaukee to visit the art museum and chow down at the deeelish Honey Pie!). I especially loved the 70 degree weather on Christmas and Christmas Eve. Mother nature is making up for that now here in NJ!
Anyway… I’d like to share the latest project I’ve posted to my site!
I was totally excited to have the opportunity to work on the book, Charmed I’m Sure, by Sarah D. Littman! It’s the story of the slightly awkward daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. How cute is that?!
The talented art director, Laura Lynn DiSiena of Simon and Schuster, sent me the direction she wanted me to go in and I loved it all over and inside out! She wanted the cover to be really graphic and feature a few things: a mirror compact (has pieces from the famous mirror from Snow White), close up of Rosie (the daughter of Snow and Prince) slightly hidden behind the compact, and modern typography with some fairytale flare on the compact. I seriously couldn’t wait to start!
Below are a few of the sketches I sent along with the final. I had such a field day with this awesome concept I really had a hard time stopping myself from sketching on and on…

Thanks so much for your time and please be sure to connect with me on linkedin, instagram, dribbble and/or twitter for my current projects. I love blogging but I am more active on those channels.
