I was totally excited to have the opportunity to work on the book, Taming of the Shoe, by Sarah D. Littman! It's third in the series. The main character, Araminta, loses her shoe during some chaos at a botched attempt to meet her favorite tween heartthrob, and it’s used to i.d. her later on. Her mother happens to be Ella Robicheaux—a.k.a. Cinderella.
It was such a blast sketching and working on the type! Especially, solving the challenge of getting the third cover to be different from the other two, while being unique enough to stand on its own.
